Bourbon Glazed Carrot Coins with Toasted Pecans

  • 5 peeled and sliced into coins
    Large Carrots
  • 2 tbsp
    Butter
  • 2 tbsp
    Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp
    Bourbon
  • 0.25 tsp
    Cinnamon
  • 1 pcs
    Salt And Black Pepper To Taste
  • 0.25 cup
    Toasted Pecans, Chopped
Directions
  • Sauté the Carrots

    In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add sliced carrots.
    Sauté for 8–10 minutes until they begin to soften.

  • Add the Glaze

    Stir in brown sugar, bourbon, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
    Continue to cook, stirring often, until carrots are tender and coated in a sticky glaze

  • Top and Serve

    Remove from heat and sprinkle with toasted pecans before serving.
