Spicy BBQ Calamari with Charred Lemon Aioli

    Cleaned Calamari Tubes And Tentacles

    Olive Oil

    Smoked Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp
    Cayenne Pepper

    Lemon, Halved

    Mayo
  • 1 minced
    Clove Garlic

Directions
  • Prep the Calamari

    Slice tubes into rings. Toss with olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne, and salt.

  • Grill the Lemon

    Grill lemon halves cut-side down until charred, about 5 minutes. Let cool slightly.

  • Make the Charred Lemon Aioli

    In a bowl, whisk mayo, garlic, juice from grilled lemon, and black pepper.

  • Grill the Calamari

    Grill calamari over high heat for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly charred and just cooked through.
