Sticky Hoisin BBQ Ribs

    Racks Baby Back Ribs
  • 1 tbsp
    Chinese Five-Spice Powder
  • 1 tbsp
    Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp
    Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp
    Garlic Powder
  • 0.25 cup
    Hoisin Sauce
  • 0.25 cup
    Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp
    Honey
  • 1 tbsp
    Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    Sesame Oil
  • 1 pcs
    Scallion, Sliced
Directions
  • Prep the Ribs

    Remove membrane from the back of ribs. Mix five-spice, brown sugar, salt, and garlic powder and rub all over ribs. Let sit for 30 minutes.

  • Slow Cook and Sauce

    Preheat grill to 275°F. Wrap ribs in foil and cook for 2.5 hours.
    In a saucepan, combine hoisin, soy, honey, vinegar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.

  • Glaze and Finish

    Unwrap ribs, baste with hoisin sauce, and return to grill for 30 minutes uncovered, basting every 10 minutes.
    Sprinkle scallions over top before serving for a fresh bite
